Specific measures will be taken in Russia on soonest consideration of the Azerbaijan’s side proposal on construction of the bridge over the border river Samur, as well as permit for passing the Azerbaijan’s vessels through the waterways of the Russian Federation. Such arrangement has been reached in Moscow recently at the meeting of the first Vice Premier of the Azerbaijan’s government Abbas Abbasov with the deputy chairman of the Russia’ government Alexander Szhukov, as well as at the Russian-Azerbaijani consultations at the Russia’s Foreign Ministry.
The actual issues of bilateral relations were discussed at the meetings, a mutual will for the all-round development of comprehensive cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan was expressed, the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Moscow told Trend. The sides viewed specific issues of interaction in the economic field. The large growth of the commodities turnover, which grew by nearly 60% for 8 months of 2005 was marked satisfactorily.
