Reforms carried out in some parties entering Consultative Council - Mammad Alizade

The Consultative Council of Pro-governmental Parties must make turning point in its activities in relation to the re-run elections to the Milli Majlis, Trend reports quoting Mammad Alizade, the chair of the Consultative Council, as well as the leader of the Democratic Azerbaijani World Party.

Alizade underlined that reforms had been carried out in some parties entering the organization for reorganization. The party led by me, regional branches of the Free Republicans Party, Democratic Enlightenment Party, Republicans Party were reformed. We recognized backwardness and weakness in our activities, he stressed.

The head of the organization also noted that founders of Reforms election block did not join the 13 May by-elections due to our decision to support single candidates from New Azerbaijan Party (NAP). Alizade also said they considered inclusion of 4 parties to NAP. Now we think over the mechanism. The issue is probable to be solved after the by-elections, he added.
