The Education Ministry will not issue certificates for graduates of the Independent Azerbaijan University, as most students studied there illegally, Trendreports citing Misir Mardanov, the Azerbaijani Education Minister, as stating to a news conference on 5 April.
The Minister informed that the university has been carried out illegal exams over the many years. In this school year 120 applicants entered the university through the State Commission on Students Admission to the university, while 1,700 applicants entered the university illegally. The Ministry has illegally voiced its negative position to the leadership of the university, which ignores it.
Addressing to parents of the students of this university Mardanov again warned the Ministry considers the activities of this university as illegal.
