The Co-ordinator of the European Union to Azerbaijan and Head of the project of European House, Wolfgang Sporrer, exclusively informed Trend that the Head of the EU Customs Commission, Annabelle Gargo Filoli, will arrive in Baku on February 7th.
The EU envoy will attend the international conference on the fight against the illegal turnover of medicines, which being organized by the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan on February 7th to 8th.
The conference will also be attended by the Secretary General of the World Trade Organization; Michel Dane, Secretary General of Economic Co-operation Organization; Khurshid Anvar, Deputy Chairman of International Intellectual Property Organization; Mikhail Kiplinger, Deputy Head of European Regional Bureau of World Health Organization; Nata Menabde and other representatives of international organizations.
The seminar, which will bring together nearly 100 foreign representatives, will focus on the fight over the illegal turnover of medicines and on the expansion of co-operation in this respect. The seminar is being sponsored by large international pharmaceutical companies.
