Eldar Salimov, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to United Arab Emigrates (UAE), informed Trend that Safar Abiyev, the Azerbaijani Defense Minister, got familiar with advances world technologies at the International Defence Exhibition Conference (IDEC), which began in Abu Dhabi on 18 February and will end on 22 February.
The diplomat said that the exhibition held once in two years is one of the world recognized exhibitions and conference in the defense sector.
The Azerbaijani Defense Minister met with UAE's Defense Minister Muhammad al Kadir and discussed bilateral cooperation.
As part of participating in an exhibition and conference, the Azerbaijani Defense Minister plans to meet with Vice President, Prime Minister, Emir of Dubai, Defense Minister Sheikh Muhammad bin Rashid al Maktum and head of the General Headquarters of the Armed Forces of United Arab Emirates, Said Al Rumeisi.
