Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr S. Ilhamgizi / Ahamd Oruj, the chairman of the Azadlyg party, has reported that a preparatory hearing on the suit of the party against the chairman of the State Committee on State Property Management, Karam Hasanov, was held at the Khatai District Court on 2 May.
According to Oruj, Hasanov is accused of ignoring the appeals of the Azadlyg party, which requested for a headquarters, and of not fulfilling his duties.
During the court hearing presided by the judge Rauf Ahmadov, Oruj acted as a plaintiff and the defendant was represented by Namig Ibrahimli, a section head of the State Committee. The representatives of both sides were allowed to speak. The suit will be considered on 11 May at 3:00 p.m.
The judge advised the sides to resolve the problem in private before the next hearing. The representative of the State Committee noted that the appeal will be examined.
