A new head coach of Azerbaijani youth kayak rowing teams was appointed.
Leadership of federation considers reasonable to appoint head coach in Azerbaijani youth teams to reach achievements in kayak rowing, press-service of the Azerbaijani national rowing federation told Trend on June 4. The contract with German specialist Yohann Zulke was signed on this regards.
Zulke will control preparation of Azerbaijani youth U-18 and U-23 kayak rowing teams. Earlier he worked in Germany, Iran and China. After this appointment Ukrainian specialist Vasily Kovbanovsky will head youth canoe rowing teams.
German head coach of national teams on academic rowing is Rudiger Hauffe.
