Meetings and conferences to be held in various countries in relation to Hodjali genocide anniversary

A meeting will be held on 25 February in front of the International Human Rights Court in Hague on the initiative of the Turkish Cultural Center, the Azerbaijan State Committee on work with Azerbaijanis living abroad told Trend. All Azerbaijani and Turkish organizations functioning in Holland are expected to be involved in the meeting.

Apart from this, a scientific-practical conference Azerbaijanis against terrorism, dedicated to the Hodjali genocide anniversary will be held today in Brussels on the initiative of the World Azerbaijanis Congress.

The ceremony dedicated to this tragedy will be held on 25 February at the Embassy of Azerbaijan to Poland. On 26 February on the initiative of the Azerbaijan Embassy to Hungary, the Hungary-Azerbaijan Friendship Society and the Azerbaijani students being educated in Hungary the Hodjali genocide commemoration ceremony will be organized. The conference will be held on 25 February in Tashkent jointly with the Azerbaijan Embassy to Uzbekistan, the Heydar Aliyev Azerbaijan House, the Association of the national and cultural centre of the Azerbaijanis and the Azerbaijan Youth Organization. The all-Russia Congress of Azerbaijanis together with the Embassy of Azerbaijan to Russia will hold the Hodjali genocide commemoration ceremony in some regions.

The Azerbaijan-Czechia Society will hold the ceremony of the Hodjali genocide memory on 26 February and the film will be demonstrated. On 26 February ceremonies of the Hodjali genocide memory will be organized in Istanbul and Izmir. The Vatan organization in Egypt will hold on 26 February an event at the El Shams University. The Azerbaijan Japan friendship society started since 16 February to hold events dedicated to the 14 anniversary of the Hodjali genocide.
