Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr E. Huseynli / The weather in Azerbaijan will be unstable from the 19th to the 23rd of June, the Deputy Director of the National Hydrometeorology Department at the Azerbaijani Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Umayra Taghiyeva , reported on the 18th of June.
According to Taghiyeva , rain and thunderstorms are expected to appear within regions of the country in the evenings and early mornings during the abovementioned period. Cloud-bursts and hail are expected to appear in mountainous regions. Northern winds will gain strength, water flow in rivers will intensify, and short-term floods will appear in several rivers.
Weather conditions in the Absheron Peninsula will be relatively favourable within the next three days.
