Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr K. Zarbaliyeva / A lawsuit against Rizvan Talybov, the head of the Committee on protection of the rights of former Azerbaijani health minister, Ali Insanov, will be brought to Sumgayit City Court for consideration.
Talybov's attorney, Telman Novruzzadeh, said on 23 July that familiarization with the case had been completed, and the bill of indictment had been submitted to the Prosecutor's Office for approval. Talybov is charged in contravention of Article 221.2.2. (Hooliganism) of the Criminal Code.
The lawsuit regarding the chairman of the Union of Deportation of Western Azerbaijanis and the Committee on protection of the rights of former Azerbaijani health minister was initiated on the basis of an appeal to the police by Talybov's neighbour.
