I.Khalilova / The five years strategic development plan of the agriculture bank is expected to be approved by the non-bank credit organization of 'Agrarian-credit' on 17 October. The plan is expected to be submitted to the Supervisor Council for approval by mid November, to receive a general license from the National Bank of Azerbaijan (NBA) it is necessary to submit the strategic development plan of the bank.
The plan was developed with participation of EU experts which render technical assistance to Agrarian-credit. In compliance with their proposals the volume of deposit portfolio was written by years.
There are plans to draw AZN 12mln investments within the first year, AZN 30mln - the second year and AZN 70mln within five years.
The Agrarian-credit considers the unrealistic aforesaid figures due to the state of the population in agriculture.
The Azerbaijani Finance Ministry is the main shareholder of the Agrarian-credit, which has 99.9% credits of the credit organization. The rest of the shares of the organization are equally divided among the state insurance organization of Azersigorta and Land-reclamation and water agriculture company.
