Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend U.Ismayilova / The Center of Economic Studies stated a 22.15% inflation rate in Azerbaijan from January to October.
The rate of inflation was 22.81% in Baku in this period and 21.32% in the regions, the Organization said on 12 November.
Per production groups the highest inflation rate was observed in the service sector (36.60%), to food productions 19.47%, and on non-food production 16.40%.
According to the organization's calculations, in October the consumer price index comprised 2.27% in the country. It was 2.28% in Baku and 2.27% in the regions.
Due to production groups, the highest indices were observed in the foodstuff sector (3.14%), on non-food sector (1.65%), and on services 0.76%.
The Organization said that the considerable increase in CPI was fixed on bread and rolls, eggs (2.22%), butter (6%), fruits and vegetables (8.39%), drinks and tobacco (2.09%) and clothes and shoes (5.76%).
According to the State Statistics Committee, the inflation ration was 16% in Azerbaijan over January-October.
