Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. U.Ismaylova / The AZN 35mln allocated to finance social mortgage from the State Budget for 2008 may to be increased, Azar Amiraslanov, the head of the Economic Reforms fund, said.
Azerbaijani Mortgage Fund was founded in 2006. The fund suspended functioning in summer 2007 due to lack of funds. During a year the Fund allocated 1,725 credits in amount of AZN 65mnl.
According to Amiraslanov, the mortgage fund will allocate only social credits for certain part of population.
"The sum allocated to the fund will be increased in future, which causes development of the sphere in the country," the MP said.
