Azerbaijan, Baku, 22 February / Trend corr G. Ragifgizi / In 2007, the agricultural production doubled in the Gadabey region of Azerbaijan, according to the Gadabey administration.
Opening of the Agroservise of the Agroleasing OJSC in the region, had bestowed a positive impact on agricultural production. The state enterprise allotted 325 tons of nitrogen and 450kg of super-phosphate fertilizers to 1,415 manufacturers with 50% privileges, and the Agroximiya LLC also allocated 6 tons of the nitrogen fertilizers. As a result, potato production increased to 195,760 tons, grain - 4,200 tons, meat - 5,281 tons, milk - 24,740 tons, which is two times more than in 2006.
ON 23 Oct 2004, Agrolizing OJSC was established in accordance with the order issued by President Ilham Aliyev. The purpose of the enterprise's activities is improvement of the agrarian sector and support of entrepreneurship in the country, by issuing better agricultural technology to the local land owners through leasing. At present, the company operates in fifty-five agricultural engineering service branches and ten supply bases throughout Azerbaijan.
