I.Khalilova / The Association of Banks of Azerbaijan (ABA) formed its first expert groups in two directions, juridical and credit issues, which were planned within the framework of main directions of activity and institutional development of association for 2007-2011, Farhad Aliyev, the Executive Director of Association, said.
"We revealed priority directions on the grounds of the poll held in 2007, and the expert groups will consider the issues," Aliyev said.
The first meeting of the expert groups will be held within the next two or three weeks. The proposals to legislative acts, which regulates bank activity and standard acts of the National Bank will be developed within the framework of the expert group. The expert group's task on crediting includes discussing problems with crediting.
Initially, there were plans to create seven groups within the framework of the plan on the activity of expert group. Groups will be founded in different directions, marketing, IT and others.
The task of the expert groups will include developing recommendations and to inform corresponding departments about bank associations, draft bill or supplements to statutory-legal; act.
