Azerbaijan, Baku, 8 May / Trend / In January-April 2008, Azerbaijan's domestic retail turnover comprised AZN 3.185bln, which is by 14.7% more than in the same period of 2007, Azerbaijani State Statistical Committee reported.
Juridical entities sold 15.6%, individuals 45.9% at the trade fairs and markets, but the private enterprises sold only 38.5%.
Since the beginning of the year, foodstuffs in the sum of AZN 2.73bln and non-foods in the sum of AZN 1.112bln were sold to the population, which is by 10.8% and 25% respectively more.
Paid services were rendered to the population in the sum of AZN 898.1mln which is by 29.6% more - 79% by juridical entities (36.6% rise), 21% by individuals (8.6% rise).
