Azerbaijan, Baku, 28 October/ Trend , corr I. Khalilova/ The monitoring by the Ministry of Taxes has revealed violation of tax legislation by 923 tax payers, the Ministry said. The monitoring lasted from 22 September to 19 October 2008. The number of tax legislation violators exceeded 1,000 in previous years.
During this period, as many as 447 tax payers violated the rules of payment in cash and 77 received foreign currency as a means of payment. The monitoring revealed 127 tax payers acting without registration in tax agencies and 143 tax payers acted in spheres which require special permission.
As many as 20 tax payers were revealed to hire workers without labor contracts, 46 tax payers were revealed to be engaged in passenger conveyance without getting differential signs and 50 people carried out purchase and sale of currency in public places.
Monitoring over the excise tax of 13 tax payers revealed 301 goods worth AZN 252.6 without respective marking.
