The state supervision service over consumer market under the Azerbaijani ministry of economic development revealed facts of consumer rights violation as a result of monitoring conducted in Baku and regions of the country, the ministry said on June 3.
Monitoring was conducted in Narimanov, Nasimi regions, in the territory of Tbilisi prospect in Baku. Khirdalan, Siyazan, Jalilabad were also controlled. Roughly 0.5 tons of overdue goods were withdrawn, including confectionery, sausages, butter, macaroni, children's food, etc.
Roughly 5 tons of faked cement were revealed and withdrawn during monitoring conducted in Nasimi region of Baku.
All withdrawn products were liquidated. Protocols on administrative infringements were drawn up towards two legal and six physical entities.
