Uzbek President Islam Karimov approved an agreement between the Uzbek government and the Bahraini government to encourage and protect investments.
The decree on the "Approval of the International Agreement" was published in Uzbek media outlets.
The agreement was signed in Manama Nov. 16, 2009 during Uzbek Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Economic RelationsMinister Elyer Ganiyev's official visit to the country.
