Azerbaijan has registered over 89,000 real estates in 2009, including 30,000 under initial registration and 59,000 under secondary, Karam Hasanov, State Committee on Property chairman, said at a broad meeting recapping last year's results Jan. 25.
Around 19,000 private houses, 34,000 apartments, 31,000 land spots, 5,000 non-residential areas, 440 property complexes, eight multi-storey buildings and 570 perennial plantings passed registration last year. At the same time, around 15,600 mortgage contracts have been registered.
Over 85,000 technical passports were issued for inventory of real estate in 2009. Individuals and legal entities were given around 54,000 documents on restrictions and 22,000 documents of different content to render services to the population.
In this period, property operations held in Baku included around 35,000 registered real estate facilities (39.1 percent), 31,000 technical passports (36.1 percent), 7,250 mortgage contracts (49.6 percent), 17,700 documents on restrictions issued by the state register (32.8 percent), 11,600 documents for services to the population (53.4 percent), 23,200 registered acts (41.8 percent).
