Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers made changes to the rules of return of overpaid taxes, interest and financial sanctions to a taxpayer, the report said.
According to the amendments, the interest is paid to a taxpayer for each day of delay (including the date of payment) at a rate of 0.1 percent of the amount compared to the previously fixed 0.05 percent when a taxpayer submits an application regarding the return of excess payments. The payment of this interest is intended to reduce the budget revenues.
The changes came into force since the date of signing the document.
