The KazMunayGas subsidiary Kazmortransflot expects to carry out major acquisitions over the next 10 years, head of the Kazmortransflot office in Astana Altynai Ualiyeva told media.
"This year, we plan to purchase two large tankers worth $110 million to exploit them in the open sea and specifically in the Black Sea," she said.
She added that Kazmortransflot plans to spend $35 million for the development of dry-cargo fleet in 2013-2014.
In total, Kazmortransflot's costs for the implementation of these plans will amount to $800 million over the next 7-8 years.
