The Azerbaijani State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) and the Moldovan National Social Insurance Office have today signed a protocol on cooperation in the field of compulsory state social insurance.
The protocol was undersigned by SSPF Head Salim Muslimov and Head of the Moldovan National Social Insurance Office Maria Borta.
The signing ceremony was held under the International Workshop on "Social Protection of migrant workers and globalization" running in Baku.
Muslimov said the sides, in the next stage, will sign an agreement on providing pensions to migrant workers living in Moldova, and then moved to Azerbaijan, and vice versa.
To date, Azerbaijan has signed 10 inter-governmental agreements in this field with other countries.
