Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover has increased by 21.5 percent to $18.874 billion in January-September, the Uzbek State Statistics Committee said.
Exports increased by 21.4 percent to $11.352 billion, and import by 21.8 percent to $7.523 billion.
According to the committee, the export of food products inreased by 67.7 percent, chemical products - 38.7 percent, ferrous metals - 34.2 percent, machinery and equipment - 62.6 percent, and services - 30.3 percent.
New goods are also being exported such as sodium nitrate, polyacrylamide, trucks, brass rollings, composite panels, gypsum products, frozen foods, and more.
