Turkmenistan and China have signed a package of inter-state documents following high-level talks in Beijing today, the Turkmen government said.
The Turkmen President is on a state visit to Beijing (Nov. 22-25), where he met with Chinese President Hu Jintao.
The report said that the two leaders signed the joint declaration on comprehensive intensification of Turkmen-Chinese relations of friendship and cooperation, as well as the agreement between Turkmenistan and China to supply additional volumes of natural gas from Turkmenistan to China.
The parties also signed a number of other important documents, designed to give qualitatively new dynamics to the Turkmen-Chinese partnership.
During the visit, President Berdimuhamedov will visit the free economic zone of Shenzhen city and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. A joint business forum will be also held.
