The Azerbaijani Transport Ministry plans to commission the intellectual transport management system in Baku by late 2011, the head of the Head of the Transport Ministry's Policy and Economy Department Sadraddin Mamedov told Trend on Thursday.
"The system is planned to be commissioned by the end of this month," he said.
The system to be launched in Baku will be the first step. The second and third stages of the system will cover the Absheron peninsula, as well as all major highways and roads of the country.
