The certification body of management systems of Experimental and Test Center (AzTEST) of the State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan will be accredited by the Accreditation Organization of Turkey (TURKAK), the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan said.
AzTEST sent relevant documents to TURKAK in order to comply with İSO / İEC 17021:2011 certification of management systems and requirements for bodies providing audit, experts of which will arrive in Baku in the coming days," the report said.
TURKAK is a full member of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), and certificate received from the organization will provide international recognition of certificates issued by AzTEST.
"This will facilitate the development of the economy based on the production process requirements and desires of consumers, accelerate time of exporting better products to international markets, which is a key factor in the development of the world economy and will further comply with the requirements of the European Union," the report says
Experimental and Test Centre (AzTEST) of State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan is accredited as a certification body of control systems in the national system of accreditation on June 17, 2010.
