Germany provides Turkmenistan with combine harvesters

German Umax Trade GmbH Company has delivered a large batch of combine harvesters to Turkmenistan under a contract with the Turkmenobahyzmat state association (Turkmen Agricultural Services).

German Umax Trade GmbH Company has delivered a large batch of combine harvesters to Turkmenistan under a contract with the Turkmenobahyzmat state association (Turkmen Agricultural Services), Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper said on March 5.

'In total, 300 combine harvesters, Tucano 430, as well as spare parts, tyres, lubricants and consumables have been purchased', the newspaper said.

The delivered machine will be used in the 2014 harvest that starts in summer in the country.

These combines are adapted to work in the soil and climatic conditions of Turkmenistan, the newspaper said.

CLAAS Company which has been represented in Turkmenistan since 2007 is the producer of the combines.

Turkmenistan plans to collect 1.6 million tons of grain from 860,000 hectares of lands in 2014. It harvested as much in 2013 which is 400,000 tons more than in 2012.

Over 1880 Case, New Holland, John Deere and CLAAS combine harvesters of were involved in the harvesting.

The Turkmengallaonumleri (Turkmenhleboprodukty) state association is engaged in the issues of sale in foreign markets. Turkmenistan began to export bread grain for the first time in 2010.
