Turkmen Ministry of Railway Transport has announced an international tender.
The tender's subject is a contract for completing the project for construction of the Bereket - Etrek railway (Iran-Turkmenistan border) and building a locomotive depot at the Bereket station.
The Islamic Development Bank has issued a loan to the country's Ministry of Railway Transport for this purpose.
The tender participants should send sealed bids to the contract number (TKM/ICB/02).
The bidding will be conducted in accordance with the international competitive bidding procedures defined by the 'Guidelines for Procurement of goods and work under DB financing' (as amended).

All those interested can obtain a full package of tender documents in English by sending a written application and by paying a nonrefundable fee in the amount of $575.
The payment can be made at the ministry or by transferring money to the bank details indicated below.
The bidders making payment to the bank account of the ministry should send a receipt to the ministry's e-mail: [email protected].
The document will be handed to the bidder (or his authorized representatives). Those transferring money to the bank account will receive the document via e-mail.
All tender bids should be accompanied by a tender guarantee in the amount of two percent of the tender fee or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.
The tender bids should be submitted to the address below beginning from 15:00, June 14, 2014.
The tender bids will be opened at the address below in the presence of bidders' representatives who wish to participate in this process.
