Dividends to legal entities that are residents of Uzbekistan will be paid in foreign currency if they have funds on foreign currency accounts.
This change, registered by the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan on Nov. 23, is included in the procedure of managing the commercial banks’ foreign currency accounts.
The change, according to the ministry, was made in connection with multiple appeals of legal entities and individuals.
Along with this, according to another addition introduced in the specified order, the amounts that are on the accounts of individual entrepreneurs can be used to pay for the import of goods (works, services).
