FinnAir to continue flights to Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan and Finland agreed to continue direct flights between Astana and Helsinki.

The delegation of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan held a meeting with the aviation authorities of Finland and the leadership of FinnAir within the framework of the negotiation platform of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAN-2017).

Following the meeting, the chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee of Kazakhstan, Talgat Lustayev and Manager for Market Access and Aeropolitics at Finnair Lauri Tierali reached an agreement to continue direct flights between Astana and Helsinki. This air route was opened on the eve of the international exhibition EXPO-2017 and showed very good results.

During the period of the exhibition loading of flights in this direction was over 90 percent. In this regard, starting from the summer of next year, flights on the air route Astana-Helsinki will be continued.
