The Kazakhstan’s BioGrain LLP company and the Chinese China Marine Bunker Co. Ltd. company will build the agricultural hub for deep processing of cereals and oilseeds in the Kostanay industrial zone of Kazakhstan.
The implementation of the joint project will begin in 2019, the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial-Innovative Development of Kostanay region announced. The total cost of the project is $300 million.
BioGrain LLP has already signed a Memorandum with the Chinese Shanxi company for the export to China of all products which have been planned to be produced.
In general, it is planned to locate 12 projects worth more than one trillion tenge in the Kostanay industrial zone.
The work for bringing the infrastructure to the territory of the industrial zone is at the stage of completion now.
"Currently, the administration of Kostanay industrial zone together with “National Company "Social-Entrepreneurial Corporation "Tobol"” JSC is working on the issue of location in the industrial zone of 12 projects worth more than 1 trillion tenge. The targeted projects are related to the fields of engineering, agriculture, gas industry", the administration said.
In particular, the production of tractors of Minsk Tractor Works Limited Production Association will be established on the territory of the industrial zone. Currently, the equipment is being installed.
