A member of the Agriculture, Water and Natural Resources Commission of Iran's parliament, referring to the water and natural resources in Iran next year's budget plan, said that the farm water price will not increase next year (starts on March 21, 2019).

“The budget bill has not yet been approved by the parliament; we approved the proposals in the Agriculture Commission and the budget status will be finalized within two to three weeks,” a member of the Agriculture, Water and Natural Resources Commission Ali Akbari told Trend.

"What is certain is that the budgets for all sectors have dropped, including agriculture, but the budget cuts are not serious in agriculture," Akbari said.

“The budget for agricultural insurance in the current year (Started on March 2018) was $23.5 million, which has increased to $30 million in the next year's budget,” he said.

“This budget has been approved by the Budget Commission,” he added.

He also went on to explain about the considered budgets for managing water resources.
