Turkey exported 2,031 motor cars to Georgia from January through September 2019, Trend reports referring to the Georgian National Statistics Office (Geostat).
Motor cars totaling $49.2 million were exported from Turkey to Georgia.
In an annual comparison, Turkey increased the export of cars by 1.62 times. Over the same period last year, 1,336 units of motor cars were imported from Turkey to Georgia for a total of $31.2 million.
For nine months of 2019, total imports to Georgia from Turkey amounted to $1.1 billion. In turn, Georgia exported goods worth $155 million to Turkey.
The foreign trade turnover of Georgia with Turkey from January to August 2019 exceeded $1.2 billion, which is 14.1 percent of the total trade turnover of Georgia.
