The inflation rate increased by 27 percent during the eighth month (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21) of this Iranian year (began March 21, 2019) compared to the same period last year, Trend reports referring to Iranian Statistical Center.
According to the center, families in Iran have spent an average by 27 percent more on some products and services.
During the eighth month, the price index for food, beverages and tobacco products reached 28.8 percent, while for non-food items and services – 26.2 percent.
