Azerbaijan’s ALTECH aluminium & Glass Technologies plant intends to increase production volume of aluminum profiles in 2020, a source in the enterprise told Trend.
The plant is engaged in production of plastic, furniture, electrostatic and other types of profiles.
“We produce 1,500 square meters of plastic profiles monthly. The length of one plastic profile is 6 meters. At the same time, the enterprise is actively working to expand volume of exports abroad. Currently, neighboring Georgia remains the real market. In 2019, the plant made small export deliveries to Georgia; 300 square meters of aluminum profiles were shipped by one truck. More significant volumes are expected to be exported in 2020.," the source said.
"The countries of Central Asia, in particular Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan, are considered as potential markets. In particular, small-scale shipments to Uzbekistan are envisaged,” the source added.
ALTECH aluminium & Glass Technologies is located on the territory of 12,000 square meters in Baku. The enterprise’s production capacity is 12,000 tons per year.
