BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 23

By Jeila Aliyeva - Trend:

The Turkmen company for the production of polypropylene multifilament yarn, Abrayly Dostlar, plans to replace the imported viscose and polyester yarn with its own products, Namik Shyukyurov, co-founder of the company told Trend.

"Viscose and polyester yarn are very popular in Turkmenistan, which creates large volumes of import of this thread from China," said Shukyurov.

In order to provide the domestic market with viscose and polyester yarn, the company plans to purchase additional equipment next year.

"One of the special Lines for the production of yarn will be allocated for the domestic market of the country, and the second one only for export," said the co-founder of the company.

Meanwhile, he added that it is not yet known whether they will invest in the new line themselves, or at the expense of the bank.

In general, the company was established last year and is a modern and actively growing company for the production of polypropylene multifilament yarn, in different types, colors and also has International ISO Certificates 9001, 10002, 14001, and 45001.

The company has a production capacity of 1,200 tons per year. Most of its capacity is exported and the raw material demand is met only from the local market.

"Currently, we export products to Turkey, Russia, and have a lot of demand from America, Belgium, and Canada."
