Turkish Kayaturk Group company is looking to construct a textile plant and a food store in Kazakhstan’s Nur-Sultan city, Trend reports citing the city’s akimat (administrative center).

The topic was discussed during a meeting between the company’s leadership and Nur-Sultan city’s Head Altay Kulginov.

“We are expanding the network of factories, plants, wholesale distribution centers, and other important facilities in the city since there is a demand for these facilities in the domestic market. The manufactured products, for example, can be used in the construction of new facilities, modernization of housing and communal services, replacement of engineering networks. Also, the pandemic showed us the need to build distribution centers,” Kulginov said.

In turn, the founder of Kayaturk Group Abdul Nasyr Chetin said that by implementing these two projects new jobs will be created and goods manufacturing will be established.

Kulginov also said that in addition to individual meetings with investors, the work to hold investment advice is underway in the region.

Among investment projects approved by the regional investment council, there are also social, infrastructural, production, logistics, and other projects. The construction is carried out at the expense of private funds. The city’s akimat works with each investor individually, removing the administrative barriers that may arise.
