Uzbekistan’s itinerant trade to be carried out through electronic registration

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Dec. 11

By Klavdiya Romakayeva - Trend:

Itinerant trade by business entities in Uzbekistan will be carried out through electronic registration of trade objects in K - SAVDO automated information system (AIS) starting from July 1, 2021, Trend reports citing the portal for discussion of draft legal acts.

In addition, according to the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers "On approval of the work of seasonal cafes of public catering establishments, as well as the procedure for conducting itinerant trade", itinerant retail locations will be sold under the placement scheme at an electronic auction through the K - SAVDO AIS.

In accordance with the draft resolution, the regulation on the work of seasonal cafes of public catering enterprises, as well as the procedure for conducting off-site trade, has been approved.

Also, the draft resolution approved a list of ministries and departments connected to K - SAVDO AIS, as well as a plan of practical activities, streamlining the offsite trading activities.

The proposed draft Regulation defines the mandatory requirements and conditions for itinerant trade, registration rules, the procedure for selling itinerant trade locations through electronic auctions, and the procedure for operating seasonal cafes of catering establishments.

The State Tax Committee was appointed as the authorized body for control over the procedure for carrying out field trade in the draft document.

The adoption of this decree will eliminate unnecessary bureaucratic barriers in the activity of outbound trade, and serve to ensure transparency, openness and legality between business entities and the state body.

In addition, the established procedure for the operation of seasonal cafes of public catering enterprises will prevent the occurrence of violations in this area.

The bill proposes to establish a previously absent operating procedure for vending machines, which will lead to a decrease in the non-bank turnover of business entities operating in this direction in accordance with the established rules.

Comments and suggestions to the draft can be proposed until December 24, 2020.
