Perspectives for the development of cooperation with Azerbaijan were discussed with the focus group IDI of INTOSAI in Baku on 7 February. The discussions were held with the General Director of IDI, Magnus Borge, and Namik Nasrullayev, the chairman of the Accountancy Chamber of Azerbaijan.
The Accountancy Chamber told Trend the meeting focused on issues of development of relationships among the bodies. Borge
met with employees of the Accountancy Chamber and informed about the activities of the institution that he heads and answered their questions.
On Friday Borge is to complete his visit, while the seminar is to be over on 24 February.
The workshop dedicated to improvement of qualification of Supreme Financial Control Bodies (SFCB) in the sphere of audit of state debts. Attending the seminar will be specialists from 8 countries (Bulgaria, Russia, Kazakhstan, India, Belorus, Norway and Switzerland), including Azerbaijan.
