Public budget revenues fulfilled 104.1% in Jan

As of operative data, the forecast incomes of the public budget were executed 104.1% in January 2006 and they succeeded to remit 195.6m AZN to the treasury instead of the target of 188.3m AZN, the Ministry of Finances told Trend. Rise in incomes was observed almost on all incomes articles of the public budget.

In this period the revenues by Ministry of Taxes comprised 100.7m AZN against the forecast of 89.2m AZN and were implemented by 112.9% respectively. The customs taxes and duties were collected 43.8m AZN and the State Customs Committee implemented the forecast by 102%. The incomes of the public budget from the management of state property turned out 20% more than the target, or 0.21m AZN. 6m AZN fell on non-budget funds instead of 5.7m, or 5.9% more.

The transfers by the State Oil Fund to the Treasury made up 45m AZN against the forecast of 48.7m AZN and it was executed by 92.3%. Remittances by the SOFAR are implemented in accordance with schedule, though it did not make payments in the beginning of the year as the Ministry of Finances appeals for them as needed. So, without transfers the forecasts on public budget incomes would not be implemented. It is linked with gaps on some revenues, as 0.2m AZN was remitted to the public budget instead of 1.5m AZN and execution comprised only 12.7% respectively.

The remittances to the public budget by the European Union under the Food Safety Program have not started as the transfer of grant to the public budget is scheduled for December. The Ministry of Finances noted that the grant is remitted to the public budget following fulfillment of obligations by the country and therefore is left the end of the year.
