A Scientific and Coordination Council of CIS Banks headed by Vladimir Rushaylo, Chairman of the Scientific and Coordination Committee of CIS is expected to start its work in Moscow today, Eldar Ismayilov, President of the Association of Banks of Azerbaijan told Trend. He will represent Azerbaijan in the forthcoming event.

We are establishing ties with banks of Central Asian Countries, Ukraine, Belarus (an agreement on economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus during the recent visit of the Azerbaijani President to Belarus), said Mr. Ibrahimov.
According to him, Azerbaijani banks should establish correspondent and business relations with CIS banks.
