Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr I. Khalilova / The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has plans to view the possibility of allocation of the first syndicated credit in the amount of $14mln to Azerbaijani Bank Respublika on 10 July at the Committee of Directors. The funds will be directed to crediting private business in Azerbaijan.
The credit will be allotted in two parts, with the second one to be returned within eighteen months. The first part of the credit will be allotted by the EBRD making up $6mln; the second will comprise $8mln.
The credit will enable Bank Respublika to enter the international capital market, support diversification of its funds, and expand its client base.
