Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend S.Aliyev / Trains that were stopped at Baku Soviet metro station were up and running again, said the Chief Engineer of Baku Metro, Elbrus Muradov, on 28 June. According to him, in the second half of 28 June, the Baku Soviet metro station trains and all passenger access to the station was temporarily halted due to problems with the brake mechanism of one of the trains.
Muradov said that after the trains were towed, operations were re-established. The reason for problems with the brake mechanism is still to be clarified.
