Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend U.Ismayilova / The Tax Code exiting in Azerbaijan is liberal in Azerbaijan and it does not enable the Taxes Ministry to apply tough measures for non-payment of taxes.
Fazil Mammadov, the Azerbaijani Taxes Minister, stated to a meeting of the Caspian Business and Integration Club (CIBC) on 18th of July that presently it is important to toughen the measures with respect persons evading from tax payment.

The minister did not rule out discussion of this issue at the autumn session of the Parliament.
Unlike many European countries where the debtors are arrested, or there is a third person who has a right to pay instead debtor, Azerbaijan does not apply similar experience.
