No problems with transportation between Azerbaijan and Georgia

There are no problems with railroad communication between Azerbaijan and Georgia due to Alazani River overflew its banks and flooded the territory of Azerbaijani check-point, Azerbaijani Railroad JSC press-service Nadir Azmammadov said today.

"We haven't received the information about problems with trains operating on the border with Georgia. A passenger train Baku-Tbilisi was received by Baku railroad station today," Azmammadov said.

There are no problems with passenger buses operating on the border with Georgia. There are several trips in this direction per day, Baku's international bus station said.

Before, Trend 's correspondent in Tbilisi said with reference to Kakheti's information center that the movement via Samtatskaro check-point was ceased at Georgia-Azerbaijan border.

According to the Azerbaijani Statistic Committee, turnover between Azerbaijan and Georgia hit $309.6 million in January-August.
