Production Unit Azerkimya of SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) plans to expand cooperation with the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences(ANAS), SOCAR said.
For this purpose, at the PU leadership's meeting with the ANAS President Mahmud Kerimov it was decided to conduct scientific and technical meetings with famous chemists, a joint study of problems of chemical industry in Sumgayit and determine ways to address them.
During the meeting the importance of introduction of the modern technologies of leading countries during the reconstruction of enterprises belonging to the PU, as well as scientific achievements of famous scientists of Azerbaijan.
The sides also expressed the ideas and proposals regarding the future development of chemical science and petrochemical industries at the meeting.
