The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 8.24 million tons of oil in offshore and onshore fields of the country in 2012 compared to 8.4 million tons in 2011, a SOCAR report released on Wednesday said.
According to SOCAR, a total of 43 million tons of oil was produced in 2012 compared to over 45.6 million tons in 2011.
Some 50.8 million tons of oil were produced in Azerbaijan in 2010, of which 8.4 million tons accounted for SOCAR.
