Azerbaijan exported more than 7.7 billion cubic meters of natural gas from January through August 2020, which is 15 percent more than during the same period of 2019, Trend reports referring to the statistics report of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.
According to the committee, during the reporting period, the value of the exported natural gas amounted to about $1.4 billion in total terms (an increase of 18.3 percent compared to the same period of 2019).
The export of natural gas from January through July 2020 amounted to 14.89 percent of the country's total export volume for the reporting period.
In 2019, the volume of the exported natural gas from Azerbaijan reached 16.3 billion cubic meters, which in total terms amounted to $2.4 billion.
