New power units being laid at Turkmenistan's Oil Refineries

New power units are being laid at Turkmenistan’s Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenistan’s State News Agency.

The construction of new power will provide a reliable supply of electricity to new facilities being built in the country in accordance with the country’s "The Oil and Gas Development Program Until 2030".

Currently one of the most important tasks of Turkmenistan is to conduct effective geological exploration to search for new oil and gas fields and their industrial development.

Also, advanced technologies are introduced into production, enterprises are equipped with modern equipment to increase the volume and types of products.

According to the program of socio-economic development of Turkmenistan, the total volume of electricity produced in the country in the next seven years is planned to reach 33 billion kilowatt-hours.

Turkmenistan will study key trends in the global oil and gas industry, the state of world energy markets and analyze the demand for the main types of products of the fuel and energy sector in order to form its own development plan for the fuel and energy sector.

Turkmenistan is also diversifying the oil and gas sector and upgrading its infrastructure on an innovative basis.
